The Loves Local Gift Card offers a fantastic new way to spend local and to continue to support businesses in your area.
The card has been launched recently in East Dunbartonshire to help communities #ChooseLocal and works in very much the same way as a store gift voucher. The big difference is that, as it is rolled out, it will be accepted by ALL of the businesses that sign up to participate in East Dunbartonshire – from local independents to big high street brands.
The Scotland Loves Local campaign is a national initiative, led by Scotland’s Towns Partnership, designed to encourage all those who live in Scotland to think local first and support their high streets.
In East Dunbartonshire it is being supported by East Dunbartonshire Council and being promoted by Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce who have been leading the Loves Local Campaign to promote our high streets and support our local economy, jobs and communities.
We have a variety of wonderful businesses across East Dunbartonshire. We really are spoilt for choice with a wide range of independently run shops in all of our towns and villages as well as many of the big name brands.
